• About Jennifer Soto

    From 2012 to 2021, community leader Jennifer Soto served as chief operating officer of a Kissimmee, Florida, government agency. Responsible for managing a $13 million budget while overseeing day-to-day departmental activities, she also held duties related to human resources, interdepartmental communication, and state and federal compliance. During her tenure with the agency, Jennifer Soto created an effective COVID-19 strategy that maintained the agency’s function while both protecting employees and generating funds to support other governmental agencies.

    Prior to this, Ms. Soto served as the director of financial aid at Florida Technical College. There, she communicated closely with heads of various school departments to ensure efficient operations and maintained compliance with all state and federal regulations.

    A graduate of Interboro Institute with an associate of science degree in paralegal studies, Ms. Soto enrolled in Valencia College in 2020. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration. She also maintains an interest in interior design and CrossFit.
